 Grooming FAQ

  • Do I need an appointment?

    YES!

Grooming is by appointment only due to demand and time.

Please request an appointment 2-3 weeks in advance!

  • How much does grooming cost?

Pricing varies primarily by breed and service(s). However, other variables are applicable, i.e. weight/size, coat condition, time since last groom, matting, & pet temperament. Please give us a call or fill out this form for specific information.

Please keep in mind that tax and tip are additional.

  • How long does it take?

Timing varies depending on the breed and size of the pet, requested grooming services, coat condition, e.g., matting, length of time since last grooming appointment, and last but not least, temperament.

Drop-offs are 7-9am and we will call you when your pet is ready! If you are wanting to pick-up your pet as soon as possible, please drop-off your pet as early as possible when we open at 7am. We take pick-up time requests into consideration and also provide Express Grooming at an additional charge.

  • What days and times is grooming available?

We offer grooming Monday - Friday.

Drop-offs are 7-9am and we will call you when your pet is ready!

  • What should I expect before coming in?

You will be greeted upon arrival for drop-off between 7-9am. Your pet will be checked in by a receptionist and you will be asked to fill out a Grooming Check-In Form, so our groomer knows what services you would like for your pet. You may express specific requests at the time of drop-off and speak with Yunah directly. You are also welcome to bring or email pictures if you prefer a certain style/cut/length and bring high reward treats to create positive associations with grooming.

Special needs & medical concerns are accommodated as much as possible, so please let us know!

We will call you when your pet is ready!

Yunah likes to speak with owners directly for check-out, but if you aren't able to pick up your pet when we finish, the latest pickup time is 6:45PM on weekdays.

  • What kind of animals do you offer grooming for?

We happily groom dogs of all breeds and sizes

Puppies must be 12-14 weeks or older and vaccinated.

For toe nail trims only, our veterinary technicians are also available if our groomer is booked.

  • What is required for my pet to be groomed?

  • My pet is anxious or aggressive. Can he/she still be groomed?

Yes, we can still groom your pet!

Most animals, in fact, don't like grooming unless they are trained with positive re-inforcement at a young age. Some are even traumatized due to a negative experience, such as trimming a nail too short.

Our groomer does her best to accommodate the needs of each pet. We may use treats, muzzles, dog ear muffs, or even grooming hammocks to

    ease the experience.

    Think positive!

Some dogs may surprisingly do better in a different environment without their owner present.

    Plan ahead!

Make sure to feed your pet breakfast. Most dogs and cats do not eat in nervous situations.

Exercise can relieve anxiety. Go on a long walk, and play with your pet before coming in.

We offer express grooming at an additional charge if needed.

Last resort options include tranquilizers or sedation grooming under professional supervision.

  • I have a busy schedule and don't think I will have time. Would it still be possible to have my pet groomed?

We are flexible with owner's time restraints as much as possible.

We can do our best to accommodate pick-up time requests and provide a late morning / midday drop-off or even a  late pick-up before closing,

If so, please ask us in advance!

If your schedule prevents you to drop-off on weekday mornings, we can provide grooming Saturday morning upon early request. Alternatively, your pet can be boarded overnight and groomed the next day if needed.

  • What if I don't like my pet's haircut?

Our groomer wants to ensure your satisfaction and accomodate you and your pet's needs!

You may express specific requests at the time of drop-off and speak with Yunah directly.

We also ask that you fill out a grooming check-in form to get more information.

You also may bring or email us pictures of a particular style or cut.

If for whatever reason you are not happy with your pet's grooming experience, please let Yunah know or leave us feedback

Our groomer can also make adjustments to haircuts if needed.

Before and After!

Meet Our Grommer!

Hello, my name is YUNAH!

My experience with animals first began in 2016 as a kennel technician at O’Connor Animal Hospital.

I then became a veterinary technician, receptionist, and am now a groomer!

As I began working with animals, my interest began to grow and I want to continue to learn more about working with animals and help them enjoy grooming.

I graduated from Penn Foster Grooming College in May 2022 and am currently working to further my grooming career!

I am patient, gentle, and passionate about dogs and cats and do my best to make each patient comfortable and owner happy.

I have one dog named Pippi and 3 cats named Odie, Garfield, and Oreo.
